Abraj Energy to provide drilling services to TotalEnergies in Oman

Abraj Energy Services, an Omani oil and gas service provider, has secured a contract with TotalEnergies to provide drilling services in Block 12, located in central Oman, the company said on December 13. 

The primary goal of the collaboration is to ensure the successful execution of drilling for the two gas exploration wells in Block 12, Abraj said. Awarded to TotalEnergies in 2020, Block 12 spans an area of 9,546 km² and holds significant potential for natural gas reserves. 

TotalEnergies operates the block with an 80% stake, while PTTEP holds the remaining 20%.
