ADX Energy Proceeds with Seismic Survey in Romania

Australia’s ADX Energy commenced the second phase of a large-scale seismic program in the EX-1 Parta license onshore Romania.

‘Subject to weather conditions the seismic program is expected to be completed before year end,’ reads the note released on Thursday.

ADX expects the sandstone reservoirs to be related to gas. The company said it has no intention to explore for shale gas in the Balkan country.

‘The seismic results to date have confirmed ADX ́s strategy to enter proven hydrocarbon provinces with modern seismic technology in order to identify overlooked conventional oil and gas fields and so called stratigraphic traps,’ explains the press release.
