Amigo LNG signs LNG supply deal with Malaysia’s E&H Energy

Amigo LNG, a subsidiary of Singapore-based LNG Alliance, has signed a long-term LNG supply agreement with Malaysia’s E&H Energy, the company announced on August 23. Under the agreement, Amigo LNG will supply 3.6mn tonnes/year of LNG to E&H for the Malaysian market over a 20-year period, starting in Q3 2027.

Amigo LNG operates a large-scale liquefaction and export facility with a capacity of 7.8mn tonnes/year. Notably, it is the only project in the region with both FTA and non-FTA permits from the US Department of Energy, valid until December 2027. The project is being developed in close cooperation with the State of Sonora and is located adjacent to the Port of Guaymas in Sonora, Mexico.
