ANGEA, Korean Private LNG Industry Association sign MoU

The Singapore-based industry association Asia Natural Gas and Energy Association (ANGEA) and the Korean Private LNG Industry Association have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in natural gas development across Asia and to promote the role of LNG in the energy transition, according to a statement by ANGEA.

This MoU marks the first international agreement for the Korean Private LNG Industry Association, which was established in 2021 to advance Korea’s LNG industry through research activities, support for technology development, and the dissemination of relevant information. Current members of the association include SK E&S, SK Gas, GS Energy, GS EPS, GS Power, Posco International, Boryeong LNG Terminal, and Hanyang Corporation.

Under the MoU, the two organisations will concentrate on developing policies that support sustainable growth in the natural gas sector, sharing research and data, and collaborating on joint projects. These efforts will extend to multilateral forums such as Gastech.
