Anglo-Eastern achieves LNG bunkering milestone across fleet

Shipping company Anglo-Eastern has reached the milestone of bunkering 100,000 m³ of LNG across its fleet of LNG dual-fuel vessels, the company announced on August 2.

LNG dual-fuel vessels use a cleaner-burning alternative to traditional marine fuels, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and aiding the maritime industry's transition towards a more sustainable future.

Anglo-Eastern initiated in-house LNG dual-fuel courses in 2021, incorporating training solutions with simulators and VR training. "This achievement was made possible through 35 successful LNG bunkering operations," the company stated.

Anglo-Eastern has collaborated with partners in the maritime industry, including Anglo American, BOCOM Leasing, and MOL Chemical Tankers.
