All Africa: Angola Defends Development of Natural Gas
The Angolan Finance minister Friday in Washington (USA) stressed the need for an investment in the search of solutions to speed up the development of natural gas in Africa.
The minister was addressing spring meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, in the presence of executives of the main oil companies and officials of various oil producing countries. The meeting agreed on the need to bring an end to the routine gas flaring in producing sites until 2030.
