Argentina: Natural Gas Price Hike For Businesses Suspended

A federal judge has suspended government increases in the price of natural gas for small and medium businesses, La Nacion reported Sept. 27.

Those businesses had not been included in an August ruling by the country's Supreme Court that suspended natural gas price increases for residential users.

The hikes were imposed in an effort to reduce consumption and spur energy production. The government and stakeholders are holding hearings over the eventual natural gas pricing scheme.
