Focus: Ataka works out draft declaration on behalf of the parliament against Romania’s territorial claims
The parliamentary group of Ataka party worked out a draft Declaration on behalf of the parliament against the territorial claims of the Republic of Romania for correction of the frontier of the continental shelf of the two countries and recognition of the Romanian minority in Bulgaria, FOCUS News Agency reporter informs.
“With regard to the statement of Romanian Foreign Minister Cristian Diaconescu on March 21, 2012, who expressed some completely ungrounded claims of the Republic of Romania for corrections of the border between the two countries along the continental shelf, as well as the statement that there is Romanian minority in Bulgaria, whose rights have been violated, we, the members of the 41st National Assembly, want to explicitly oppose to the claims of Romania about corrections of the frontier of the continental shelf between Bulgaria and Romania, as well as to the claim that there is a Romanian minority on the territory of Bulgaria,” the draft declaration reads.
