Australia's EWC pens gas supply deal in Indonesia

Sydney-listed Energy World Corporation (EWC) announced on August 14 that its subsidiary, Energy Equity EPIC, and its partner in the Sengkang production sharing contract, Energi Maju Abadi, have signed a long-term gas supply agreement in Indonesia.

Under the agreement with Indonesian state utility PLN and PLN Energi Primer Indonesia, gas will be supplied from the Kampung Baru gas field to the Sengkang gas-fired power plant. This agreement replaces the various interim gas sales agreements previously signed and covers the period from March 2023 to December 2030. The gas is priced at $6/mn British thermal units (Btu).
