Austrians in Deal to Sell African Gas to Europe

The Government of Austria could become official seller of Angolan natural gas in European Union territory, under a partnership on the liquefied natural gas (LNG) project located in Soyo, northern Zaire province.

Austria's ambassador to Angola, Martin Gartner, made the revelation in the African country's capital, Luanda.

Martin Gartner, who paid a three-day working visit to the country, said that the matter is currently being negotiated between the governments of the two countries.
