Azer News: Azerbaijan, Norway to discuss energy co-op

Azerbaijan and Norway will discuss cooperation in the energy sector in the framework of Norwegian Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Energy Kare Fostervold's visit to the country.

Fostervold will be visiting Baku early next month. The Norwegian official will attend the 21st International Caspian Oil and Gas Conference.

Norway is an important energy partner of Azerbaijan. Norwegian Statoil has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1992. It was one of the participants in the Contract of the Century which was signed in 1994.
