BELTA: Beltransgaz ready to pump enough gas for Belarus, Europe

The pipeline operator OAO Beltransgaz is ready to honor its obligations involving the uninterrupted supply of natural gas to customers in Belarus and the transit of contractual volumes of Russian natural gas to European countries during the autumn-winter period of 2012-2013, the company’s press service told BelTA.

The company has finished the organizational and technical measures to operate at its peak capacity in the period. The examination of individual organizational units of the company has confirmed their readiness to operate after the air temperature drops below zero.

The necessary volume of natural gas is being pumped into underground gas storage facilities in line with the approved roadmap, said the source.  MORE
