Bloomberg: Gazprom to Make Investment Decision on South Stream in November

OAO Gazprom, Russia’s natural-gas exporter, and its partners on the South Stream pipeline to the European Union will make a final investment decision in November, the company said in a statement today.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin had told Gazprom to move up the start of construction of the pipeline, which will bypass traditional transit countries such as Ukraine and Belarus, to December this year from 2013.  MORE
