BlueNord again suspends gas output guidance over Denmark's Tyra field

 - Norway's BlueNord has again suspended its output guidance due to a slower than expected ramp-up of production from Denmark's revamped Tyra natural gas field, the company said on Friday.

Operator TotalEnergies restarted gas production from the field, called Tyra II, in March after a multi-year upgrade but said in May it had identified technical issues with a power transformer and that repairs were needed.

While the transformer has now been fixed, the ramp-up of export volumes is expected to be slower than reflected in production guidance published by BlueNord on July 10, the Norwegian group said.

While Tyra is expected to reach maximum technical capacity in the fourth quarter, BlueNord is placing its production guidance under review for both the third and fourth quarters, it added.
