Buru starts testing ops at Rafael 1 in Canning basin

Sydney-listed Buru Energy has started testing operations at the Rafael 1 well in the Canning basin in northwest Western Australia with the initial clean-up flow underway, the company said on February 25.

The definitive rate tests and gas composition analyses will be now be undertaken, with initial results expected to be announced next week. The start of the testing programme was delayed due to operational issues which were resolved by the testing crew, Buru said.
