Cameroon Producer Appoints CEO
Cameroon gas producer and utility, Victoria Oil & Gas (VOG), said June 23 that Ahmet Dik has been appointed as Group CEO. He is an existing member of the Board and was already CEO of the company's wholly-owned utility business Gaz du Cameroun (GDC).
The company said that he had been instrumental in developing both the VOG and GDC businesses. In 2014 he led the team to secure the Eneo grid power supply contract and in the past 7 months, as GDC chief, presided over significant growth in gas sales, the securing of a local debt instrument, the assignment of the 1,235km2 Matanda block to VOG, and the planning of the 2016 drilling programme.

VOG produced 8.57mn ft3/d in Cameroon during May-December 2015, all of it from the onshore Logbaba field.
