Chevron set for new HQ
Chevron is poised to sell off its current head office building in California to move into a new leased space in the same state, Reuters reported June 24.
Chevron will occupy the new building sometime in the third quarter. It says prices on the real estate market have allowed it to "right-size" the office space, so that it more closely meets the needs of staff based at its headquarters.

Employees will also have the option of relocating to Chevron's Texas office, where its second-largest North American upstream branch is located.
The move comes after Chevron's fellow US major ExxonMobil relocated its headquarters from Irving, Texas to its campus north of Houston in January.
