China's 2015 Gas Demand Seen at 190 Bcm

Chinese natural gas demand in 2015 is expected to be 190 billion cubic meters (bcm), according to an official from PetroChina North China Sales Company.

Speaking at an industry meeting Tuesday, Ye said country’s natural gas demand is likely to be 298.4 billion cubic meters in 2020 and will expand to 454.4 billion cubic meters in 2030, Xinhua Finance Agency reported.

Ye said Chinese LNG demand would have an average growth of 8.1 percent during 2015-2020.

In 2014, Chinese natural gas demand stood at 184.5 bcm.
