China's COOEC delivers last two modules for LNG Canada
Offshore Oil Engineering Co (COOEC), a unit of Chinese state-owned CNOOC, has delivered the last two component modules among a total of 35 contracted modules for LNG Canada, Global Times reported on March 8.
The construction of the total 35 component modules includes 19 core modules, which were combined with over 770,000 parts. The first phase of the LNG Canada project includes building two liquefaction trains with a capacity of 14mn metric tons/year.
The total contracted value of the 35 modules was about 5bn yuan ($716.88mn), and the total contracted construction period was 33.5 months, Global Times reported. The first core module was delivered in December 2021.

LNG Canada is a joint venture comprised of Shell, Petronas, PetroChina, Mitsubishi Corporation, and Korea Gas Corporation.
