Chinese Gas Imports Down 3% in Nov

China’s natural gas imports via pipeline and in the form of LNG in November were down 3% year on year at 9.17mn metric tons, according to customs department data published December 7. Imports were up 22% month on month, however.

Supplies during the first 11 months of the year reached 90.43mn mt, up 3.9% yr/yr. China is the world's biggest gas importer, having overtaken Japan two years ago.
