China's gas imports up 9% in January-August

Chinese natural gas imports via pipeline and in the form of LNG during January-August came in at 77.7mn tonnes, up 9.4% year/year, according to customs department data published on September 7.

Additionally, the customs department reported that China's gas imports in August alone amounted to 10.85mn tonnes.
