China's July Gas Imports up on Month

China’s natural gas imports (pipeline and LNG) in July were up month on month, according to customs department data published August 8.

Asia’s biggest economy imported 7.89mn metric tons of gas last month compared with 7.52mn metric tons in June.

Cumulative imports during the first seven months were 54.73mn mt, up 10.8% compared with the same period of previous year, according to the data.
