China's October Gas Production up Over 15%

The trend of rising natural gas output in China this year continued into October, according to the latest data published by the China’s statistics bureau.

China produced 12.41bn m³ of gas that month, up 15.4% year on year. Accumulated production during the first ten months of 2017 was 121.12bn m³, up 9.7% year on year.

Production of coalbed methane (CBM) in October was 0.59bn m³, up 15.3% year on year. During the January-October period, China’s total CBM production was 5.7bn m³, up 6.5% year on year.
