CNPC produces record oil, gas at Xinjiang field
China’s Xinjiang oilfield has produced record oil and natural gas this year, its operator CNPC said on December 23.
The total crude oil output reached 14.09mn metric tons and gas production touched 3.75bn m3 during the January 1-December 22 period, the state-owned energy company said without providing any year/year comparison.

The Xinjiang oilfield, a major production base in China, is located in the northwestern Xinjiang province.
