CNPC Increases Gas Production at Tarim Field
The Tarim oil field, one of China’s biggest upstream projects, increased its gas output this year, state-run CNPC said February 11 in a statement.
During the January 1-February 4 period, Tarim oil field produced 2.75bn m3 of natural gas, increase of 190mn m3 from the same period last year.
Located in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Tarim Basin is the largest basin in China. The field produced 28.05bn m3 of natural gas in 2019.
