Coro resumes flow at Italian gas field
London-listed Coro Energy has resumed gas flow at the Bezzecca gas field in Italy, the company announced on November 9.
"The well demonstrated strong pressure support, giving good indications for production performance in line with previously announced expectations of 15,000 m3/day," Coro said. "Stabilised production rates will be provided following an initial period to allow the necessary time for gas processing parameters to be adjusted."

Coro also brought the Sillaro field back on stream in June, with the flow rate at the time averaging 18,500 m3/d. The two fields' restart "plus the current stable production from Casa Tiberi and Rapagnano, will increase cash flow generation from our Italian portfolio at an opportune time as spot gas prices escalate during the winters," company chairman James Parsons said.
