WSJ: Could Fracking Fill Germany’s Energy Gap?

Shale gas is often touted as the answer to Europe’s quest for energy security. A number of countries, including Germany, hold significant shale gas resources that can help reduce dependence on energy imports, particularly from Russia.

But Germany, like Europe overall, is of two minds regarding hydraulic fracturing.
