Dalje: Top Croatian officials hold talks with senior Gazprom executives
Senior executives of Russia's biggest natural gas producer Gazprom on Wednesday held talks with Croatia's Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic, Economy Minister Ivan Vrdoljak and their aides. After the meeting, Minister Vrdoljak said they discussed Croatia's energy policy and touched upon the future South Stream gas pipeline and Croatia's oil and gas group INA, making no major conclusions.
The talks were about Croatia's plans for exploration and production of oil and gas and the relevant tenders, Vrdoljak told the press outside the government headquarters after the talks.
He said Gazprom showed interest in participating in the tenders for exploration and exploitation and that Croatia was pursuing an open-door policy, looking forward to the selection of the best bidders that would comply with the interests of Croatia and its citizens.
