Cuadrilla Proceeds with Local Community Engagement in UK

Cuadrilla Resources and Arup are following in footsteps of other players in the UK shale gas industry, engaging in public information days to update the local community on their exploration in the Fylde. 

‘The event … was attended by representatives from the Environment Agency and the Office of Unconventional Gas and Oil (OUGO), alongside technical experts from both Cuadrilla and Arup,’ reads a note released on Thursday. 

The company plans to organize other information days in the UK.

After the long-lasting protest at Balcombe, Cuadrilla Resources is facing the difficulties focusing on information. It recently published on its website the evidences of a new research from BritainThinks in favour of unconventional gas.
