Cuadrilla Resources Stops Operations at Preese Hall

UK-based Cuadrilla Resources said that it would not continue operations at its Preese Hall site near Weeton, according to Lancashire Evening Post.

The newspaper wrote that the gas exploration company would announce proposed new sites in the coming weeks.

After the long-lasting protest at Balcombe, Cuadrilla Resources is investing in communication campaigns to gather needed public support. It recently published on its website the results of new research from BritainThinks in favour of unconventional gas. 

In the last months, Cuadrilla remarked it wants to proceed with local community engagement to unlock the potential of Lancashire’s Bowland shale.
