In-Cyprus: Interim Gas Solution Momentum Declining

The interim solution for gas is losing steam as the bidding process is being delayed yet again and negotiations with the top bidder Vitol remain unclear.

Next week, state-owned Natural Gas Public Company (DEFA), Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority (CERA) and Cyprus Electricity Authority (EAC) will all meet with President Nicos Anatasiades on Monday to discuss the next step.
