Cyprus Mail: Total to Resume Drilling Plans and Keep License

French energy major Total intends to drill for natural gas in offshore Block 11 before its exploration license runs out in February of next year, reports said on Wednesday.

According to Phileleftheros, the company’s renewed interest in its Cyprus concession comes after the discovery of the largest to date gas reservoir in the eastern Mediterranean – the Zohr prospect.
