Czech Republic Sees Shale Gas Interest

The search for shale gas in thew Czech Republic appears to be picking up speed.

Australian based BasGas and the U.K.’s Cuadrilla Resources Ltd. have asked the Czech Environment Ministry for exploratory drilling permission in search of shale gas.

Cuadrilla has reportedly made application to find gas near Valašské Meziříč and BasGas in an area between Prague and Beroun.
