Daewoo Shipbuilding delivers LNGC to Alpha Gas

Greek shipowner Alpha Gas on June 30 took delivery of a new LNG carrier built by Korean shipyard Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.

The 173,400 m³ LNG carrier Energy Intelligence is the fourth carrier to join Alpha Gas, taking its fleet of LNG carriers to five.

The carrier has been chartered to Russia’s Gazprom on a long-term basis. Alpha Gas has chartered another LNG carrier Energy Integrity to the Russian gas producer. The carrier was delivered to Alpha Gas in May.
