Dafora to Drill Chevron Romanian Shale Gas Prospects

DAFORA S.A., has announced the signing of the Master Onshore Drilling Contract with Chevron Corp.

The Romanian based driller will provide onshore drilling services for Chevron’s exploration program in the Barlad area for a period upto four years, commencing this autumn. The Barlad concession, in the northeast of the country, covers 1.6 million acres.

DAFORA performs onshore drilling services for oil, gas and geothermal water, well-testing and workover, transport and maintenance for drilling equipment.
