Delek Group Revises Tamar Reservoir Estimates Upwards
Israel-based Delek Group reported on Monday that the proved reserves in the Tamar and Tamar SW Reservoirs total 7,866.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas (gross) and 10.2 million barrels of condensate (gross), revising upwards the former estimates by 30-40%.
‘The estimated reserves in the Tamar SW reservoir (without the part overlapping with the Eran License) after drilling the well, increased significantly in all scenarios, compared to their estimate in the previous Tamar SW report,’ the company commented in the press release.
According to the quantitative data released by the company, the probable reserves in the two reservoirs account for an additional 2,967.1 billion cubic feet of natural gas and 3.9 million barrels of condensate.
‘Actual quantities of natural gas and/or condensate consumed may be different from these estimates and assumptions, partly due to technical and operational conditions and/or regulatory changes and/or the supply and demand conditions in the natural gas and/or condensate market and/or as a result of actual performance of the reservoirs,’ reads a note released by the company on Monday.
