Duke Energy declares March dividend
Shareholders at North Carolina-based Duke Energy are set to receive a quarterly cash dividend of $0.985/share for common stock on March 16, the company announced on January 4.
The dividend will be paid to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 18, Duke said. The company also said it would pay a quarterly dividend of $359.375/share for Series A preferred stock, and a dividend of $24.375/share for Series B preferred stock, both also on March 16.

Duke serves 7.9mn customers with power in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky, as well as 1.6mn customers with natural gas in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio and Kentucky. It has paid a cash dividend on its common stock for 96 consecutive years.
