E.ON Closer to Completion of €20 Billion Disposal Program
Germany’s E.ON and VNG could fetch up to €400 million through the sale of jointly owned regional gas grid EVG Thueringen.
The two companies could launch the sale of EVG by the end of March, one people familiar with the matter told Reuters.
E.ON is trying to complete a €20 billion disposal program. In December, it sold E.ON Mitte to a consortium of municipal shareholders. After the deal, E.ON is still 1 billion short of its program.
The German utility could soon sell assets in Italy.
