New Europe: EBRD Sees Ukrainian Role in Russian Gas Transit to Europe

The Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) and the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) are moving forward, EBRD Managing Director, Energy and Natural Resources Riccardo Puliti told New Europe.

“We would be financiers for TAP and TANAP. I have not heard of any delays that are not of a technical nature. On a project of this scale to have technical delays is not unheard off,” he said in an interview on the sidelines of the TATRA SUMMIT in Bratislava on November 5.

Puliti noted that any project that increases the energy security of Europe is a priority for the EBRD.
