Eni to Invest €125Mln in Research by 2017
Italy-based Eni said it plans to invest €125 million at Versalis Mantua to consolidate production and expand research.
‘Eni will invest €125 million in its Versalis plant in Mantua to under the Group’s 2014/17 four-year strategic plan,’ reads a note released on Wednesday.
According to the six-legged dog, the investment will be used to optimise the plants industrial processes and ‘expand the research and development of innovative products.’
Like Eni, other European companies put an emphasis on technology. Repsol recently unveiled investments in exploration technologies and energy efficiency.
