Ephindo Plans to Acquire More CBM Licences This Year
Ephindo Energy plans to obtain up to four new coal bed methane (CBM) licenses in 2012.
“We are targeting to obtain two to four new more CBM licenses in this year,” Sammy Hamzah, President Director of Ephindo, told Indonesia Today at the sidelines of The 2nd Annual Offshore Indonesia Oil & Gas Conference.
He did not disclose more about the targeted working areas, including potential partners.
Ephindo’s producing CBM wells are based in Sangatta, East Kalimantan and Tanjung Enim, South Sumatera. The company is partnered with PT Pertamina and Dart Energy Ltd to develop their potentials.
