Equinor awards $240mn in supply vessel contracts
Equinor has awarded contracts to five shipowners worth 2.5bn kroner ($240mn) for the supply of six platform supply vessels, the company announced on October 14.
The contracts were handed to Simon Møkster Shipping AS, Island Offshore Management AS, Eidesvik AS, Remøy Shipping AS and P/F Skansi Offshore, and will take effect before the end of the year. They will have three-year durations, with three additional one-year options.

Equinor also said it had extended a contract with Island Offshore Shipholding for four years for the Island Clipper supply vessel that has been working at the Oseberg field. Under the agreement there is an option to convert the Island Crusader and Kongsborg vessels to run on ammonia.
