B92: "EU Not Asking for Distancing from Russia on Energy"

The EU is not asking Serbia to distance itself from Russia when it comes to energy, according to EC Vice President for Energy Union Maros Sefcovic.

The EU's priority in the region is interconnection between Bulgaria and Serbia and connection to gas terminal in Croatia, Sefcovic told Serbia's state television RTS as he ended his visit to Belgrade.

He also said the EU is ready to support energy diversification recommended for Serbia from its funds.
