FERC Approves Train 1 Start at Cheniere’s Texas Terminal

The US Federal Energy Regulatory Authority (Ferc) approved on March 1 Cheniere Energy’s request to commence liquefaction and export services at Train 1 of its Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project (CCL) in Texas.

On February 26, Cheniere said the 4.5mn mt/yr Train 1 was in the commissioning stage, with substantial completion expected in 1Q 2019. Train 2 is expected to be substantially complete in the second half this year.
