FOX: Gazprom: Proven Reserves Sufficient To Meet Rising Demand
Russian state-controlled energy producer OAO Gazprom said Thursday it didn't cut off natural-gas supply to Europe this winter and it has sufficient reserves to meet increasing demand in Europe, Russia and new markets.
"Despite a really harsh winter, we work very cooperatively with all of our customers," Gazprom Deputy Chief Executive Alexander Medvedev told Dow Jones Newswires.
"Our proven reserves are sufficient to meet growing demand in Russia, Europe and new markets," he said. "Nobody cut supply. Moreover, Gazprom increased production to record levels," he added. MORE
