French household gas prices to rise close to 12%, regulator says
PARIS, June 10 (Reuters) - France's benchmark gas prices for households will rise to an average of 129.20 euros ($138.85) per megawatt (MWh) hour from July, an 11.7% increase from current levels, the competent regulator said on Monday.
The new reference price is still 4.7 euros/MWh lower than the average price levels seen in January, the CRE added.

New tariffs for distribution grids accounted for 55% of the increase, the regulator said, while a price hike on gas wholesale markets also played an important role.
