FueLNG Venosa completes 1st LNG bunkering operation

FueLNG, a joint venture between Keppel Offshore & Marine and Shell, on June 16 announced the successful completion of the first LNG bunkering operations by FueLNG Venosa, its second LNG bunker vessel.

FueLNG Venosa performed a ship-to-ship transfer of LNG to Mount Tai. Built by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. and chartered from Korea Line LNG Co., FueLNG Venosa has a total capacity of 18,000 m3. The vessel is designed to facilitate the safe and quick turnaround of vessels carrying out simultaneous cargo handling and bunkering operations and is capable of bunkering different types of LNG fuel tanks.

“Combining Singapore's strategic location and supportive infrastructure with our expertise and partnerships, we are working towards making Singapore a prominent LNG bunkering hub,” FueLNG said.
