Full production resumes at Russia’s Sakhalin-2 LNG project

Full production has resumed at Russia’s Sakhalin-2 LNG project after the completion of maintenance and repair work, project operator Sakhalin Energy announced on August 5.

“The operator of the Sakhalin-2 project has fully resumed LNG production after completing maintenance and major repairs of process equipment as part of a planned shutdown of the integrated gas system (IGS) facilities,” Sakhalin Energy stated.

The Sakhalin-2 project is a two-train LNG development operated by Sakhalin Energy, a joint venture between Gazprom, Shell, Mitsui & Co, and Mitsubishi Corporation.
