G7 summit declaration to deal extensively with China ties - German source
BERLIN, May 11 (Reuters) - The Group of Seven (G7) summit declaration will extensively address how to deal with China, with a large consensus that the focus should be on de-risking instead of decoupling, a German government source said on Thursday.
The G7 will not be about creating an anti-China alliance but instead promoting alternative projects to the Silk Road initiative, said the source, adding that there was a debate on implementing targeted controls on investment in China.
