Gail's Q3 Profit Up Almost 13%

India’s largest gas distributor Gail registered a 12.8% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the three months to December 31 (Q3 2020) owing to better performance by gas marketing and liquid hydrogen segments, it said February 10.  

Net profit during Q3 was rupees 20.25bn ($280mn) compared with rupees 17.95bn in the same quarter of the previous year. Consolidated net profit during nine months to December 31 (9M 2020) was rupees 46.94bn compared with rupees 50.24bn in the same period last year, Gail said.
